What does the Reading Regional Airport Authority (RRAA) and Collin Morikawa, winner of the 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am have in common? A partnership with NetJets! But what is NetJets? And how does it relate to Businesses in Berks County? Net Jets Services is the world’s largest private jet company, offering fractional ownership and private jet card programs. They are a world-wide leader in the private aviation space and they have decided to partner with the Reading Regional Airport for their next maintenance hangar location.
NetJets Background

Whether it is flying in vendors, flying out to meet prospective clients, or just a hassle-free white-glove experience, NetJets delivers. With 24/7 year-round service to any destination you require, NetJets resets the industry standard for private jet service. Their team of over 300+ owner services team members and 60+ NetJets service representatives help to ensure smooth booking and travel planning. When it comes to day of travel staffing, their network of 550+ flight attendants and 4,800+ pilots worldwide provide superior service and ensure your safety from takeoff to touchdown. The new maintenance hangar will serve the fleet of NetJets existing planes, over 800 as of 2025, with plans to continue the growth of their fleet into the future.
With their global scale of operations, maintenance in and around key metro regions is paramount to maintaining their fleets top-tier reliability. This is where the partnership with Reading Regional Airport Authority enters the picture. NetJets is expanding its maintenance network at a new hangar housed at the Reading Regional Airport (RDG). This investment aligns with our IMAGINE Berks plan, as the Reading Regional Airport is a key economic driver of Berks County. Continued partnerships and investments from key stakeholders in the aviation industry help lift up the airport as a key regional asset.
Reading Aviation

When business leaders in our region look for air travel options, they often feel that only larger, commercial airports like Philadelphia International Airport are the only option. In 2024, RRAA became the sole Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) for RDG and rebranded their services under the name Reading Aviation. Reading Aviation serves as the new face for the airport for commercial and business users alike. This rebrand not only cemented the concentrated effort of improving service for clients, it welcomed in new partners.
RRAA is committed to working with partners like NetJets to provide alternative forms of air travel to stay competitive in an ever-changing environment. The investment by NetJets in a hangar at RDG highlights their commitment to increased use of the airport, increasing the economic impact. At last count in 2022, RDG supported 441 jobs with a payroll of $26.1M with a total economic output of over $77.9M.
Much like NetJets picked a winning player with Collin Morikawa, they picked a winner in Reading with Reading Aviation. Head over to Reading Aviation to learn more about how they can support your businesses air travel needs today.
